Intuitive Healing System
We naturally intuit what our body needs. It's a matter of instinct.
Some of these intuited events are obvious survival skills. If we put our
hand near fire our body sends the message to withdraw or be burned. Other
messages aren't so cut and dry. We avoid driving a certain route because
it doesn't feel right and later find out an accident occurred around the time we
would have driven by. Can this ability be a sixth sense or is it brain
chemicals interacting in response to environmental stimulus?
Ancient medicine views the body as an energetic entity flowing in harmony and
rhythm with its surroundings. When viewed in this way, the ability of the
body to intuit makes more sense. When energy intersects or interacts we
feel it. That 'feeling' tells us that something isn't quite right and we
respond in kind.
Our body tells us, through pain, discomfort, fatigue or illness, that
something is not quite right. If it has the appropriate resources it
begins the healing process. This is the Intuitive Healing System. If
you cut your finger, you don't consciously send healing compounds to seal
the wound. Your body intuitively knows what to do. It's the same if
you break a bone, your body works to mend it, automatically. Your
Intuitive Healing System however, works only as well as the resources it is
presented with and how well you listen to the message.
As children, this IHS works at its peak, keeping them as safe as possible.
As we mature and begin dealing with family and/or career this system continues
to work hard but we may find it more and more difficult to hear the message.
There's too many other things going on!
Mid-life marks an important point in our life timeline. Our body isn't
as young as it used to be and things may begin to change. If you aren't
listening or hearing the IHS you may miss one of the most important messages of
your life!
To reconnect with your IHS may take some work.
Meditation helps!
It stills your conscious mind and allows you to hear the messages of the
unsconcious mind and the IHS.
